DRESS CODE

Students must adhere to the assigned dress code for their level. Students should wear clothing over dance attire when outside of the building. Do not wear dance shoes on outside surfaces.

Girls: Academy Royal Blue and Black Leotards - LEOTARDS MUST BE PURCHASED AT BV FRONT DESK

- Pink convertible tights, pink ballet shoes. Students of color have the option to wear skin toned tights and ballet shoes. Tap shoes if signed up for electives.

Boys: (up to age 11) Black shorts or leggings, black shoes, white socks and white or black t-shirt. Tap shoes if signed up class.

Young Men: (12 and up) Black tights and dance belt, black shoes or white shoes with white socks, white or black fitted t-shirt. Tap shoes if signed up for class.

Cancellation policy Ballet Virginia must receive a completed, official Ballet Virginia withdrawal form 30 days prior to a release from tuition obligations. Refunds will not be made, except in the case of serious illness or injury, verified by a doctor’s certificate. If a student is dismissed from the academy because of unacceptable behavior, no tuition will be refunded. Ballet Virginia reserves the right to deny any refund request. Should a tuition refund be issued, the academy dues will not be refunded.
